The SmartCom Room Station integrates the control of both multiroom audio and intercom in one station that accents any home. Room Station’s advanced design allows you to:
Use the center dial to control the system volume or push to talk.
Turn the dial to navigate through intuitive menus and push to select.
Press easy-to-read function buttons for quick control.
Edit the text on the screen to customize room titles or audio source names.
Control more systems with fewer keypads on your wall.
Multiroom audio features
- Choose from four audio sources using the Room Station and installed speakers (not included) in up to 16 audio zones.
- Adjust the volume or mute your room without affecting the rest of the home.
- Pass the IR commands from your source remotes through any Room Station to your source equipment.
- SmartCom allows you to page the entire house from any room by simply pressing the center dial.
- Dial and select a single room and call that room privately, for up to 16 rooms.
- Answer “hands-free” when receiving a private call.
- Intercom calls override audio in all communicating rooms for a programmable amount of time.
- Place any Room Station in Monitor mode and listen to that room from any other room to hear infants or small children.
- Put any Room Station into Do Not Disturb Mode.
- Answer door calls from any SmartCom Room Station and release one door by simply pressing one button. (Requires electronic door strike hardware, sold separately.)
